What to Expect When I Visit
Please view the COVID19 tab on our site for the most up-to-date information about worship on Sunday mornings. Much of the information below has been changed to reflect the current situation. You are welcome to contact the church office if you have any questions.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Come as you are. You are welcome to dress however you feel comfortable. You will see a variety of styles on Sunday mornings from jeans to jackets, dresses to shorts.
WHAT IS A "BLENDED" WORSHIP SERVICE?
Our worship service combines both traditional elements (Lord's Prayer, choir, liturgy and hymns) with contemporary elements (a Praise and Worship song, worship team, and audio/visual elements). Our service usually lasts one hour. To look at a recent bulletin check out the homepage where we post the weekly bulletin.
WHAT DO MY CHILDREN DO DURING The service?
We love for children of all ages to participate in our worship service! We have Children's bulletins and Worship bags available every week at the Children's Station (beside the sound booth in the sanctuary). An optional Children's Church is also available for younger children (PreK - 2nd grade). Children who want to participate in Children's Church are dismissed early in the service. Parents can pick them up from the green classroom following the service.
DO YOU PROVIDE A NURSERY?
We have two nurseries available each Sunday morning - infant and toddler. An usher can direct you to our age-appropriate nurseries.
WHAT TIME IS YOUR SERVICE?
HOW OFTEN IS COMMUNION?
We usually celebrate communion on the first Sunday of each month and at special worship services as approved by the Session.
DO YOU ASK VISITORS TO STAND UP?
No. We are delighted you are worshipping with us, but we won't ask you to stand up or raise your hand. We do have a special Welcome Station with more information about our Fellowship (in the gathering space underneath of the television). You are encouraged to stop there for information and you may choose to leave your contact info on a Visitor card at the Welcome Station.
